Las Vegas

Had a great couple of days at Vegas.
Hotel Excalibur is huge like a fairy castle. We have done many things. A four level M&M world. Kiddie heaven. Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. We walked the strip many times as there is so much to see. Last night we did an awesome show called Tournament of Kings. The horses were beautiful. We had to eat chick with our hands and had big glasses as we cheered on our King (Austria).!! Sam was beside himself with excitement. Off to Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Kids also rode the New York Roller Coaster. We also went to the Mandlay aquarium Max was in his element. It was like having our own tour guide 😂.

Mammoth Lakes – Death Valley

Our last night in Mammoth Lakes me and Adam went out for dinner leaving kids with Nana. Best meal I have ever had. Salmon on risotto. Delicious. The next morning we woke early and Max and Adam hired fishing gear and went trout fishing and the rest of us went up to the ski fields and went on the Gondola. It was amazing, the scenery here is out of this world. We can’t believe we are having snowball fights in our shorts and T-shirts. At the top of the mountain we took a photo views spectacular.
At lunch time it was time to travel through Death Valley to our resort at Furnice Creek. Wow their was absolutely no life in Death Valley. Scary terrain driving through winding roads and very high
Valleys but awesome. We got out of the car to take some photos of sand dunes and it was 45 degrees. We were right in the desert. It was bizarre as we could still see peaks of snow on the hills. In one day we were having snowball fights and the other we were in 45 degrees heat. With nothing ahead of us while driving we turned a corner in to an oasis. Our resort really nice with an amazing pool. It’s all very western like here. Like being in a movie. We had a magnificent dinner at a steak house. Spent most of the time in the pool. Today we are off to Vegas.
